This is a pre-built dual audio power amplifier module and can operate from 9Vdc to 25Vdc (12V-18V Nom) making the EP22 suitable for use in many different replacement or project applications. At 13.2V the IC draws about 2A full volume. Very compact at only 32 x 36 x 20mm. The IC tag is earthed so it mounts direct to the chassis or heatsink (required but not supplied). Heat dissipation is around 25W. The IC is a genuine Toshiba Chip boasting impressive performance and phenomenal device protection! (Over voltage, Thermal, Short circuit, etc.) This incredible little module operates in high power BTL mode for a mono output of 22Wrms into 4ohm (11W into 8ohm), or can be quickly modified to operate in stereo mode giving 5.5W x2 into 4ohm (requires the addition of 2x 1000µf isolation capacitors).
