USB-C to HDMI video conversion is in one direction only and relies on the source's ability to output video signals using Alt Mode. Requires USB 3.1 or above.

The source device’s USB-C port must support DisplayPort Alt Mode or Thunderbolt 3/4. If the port is data-only without video output, it will not work.
