  • Positive temperature coefficient resistor that undergoes a large, quick increase in resistance when an over-current or high temperature heats it above a specific point. When the temperature reduces, the PolySwitch resets to resume normal operation. No manual resetting is required. Can be used to protect batteries, power supplies, motors transformers, speakers, AC/DC, etc. The following characteristics are for DC in still air at 20°C. For AC use Ohms Law and a mean value for ITRIP & IHOLD (Remember the RMS!)
