NRX2 is the new version of the NRX Series of speaker drivers. NRX is the "Norex" proprietary paper cone drivers by SB Acoustics. Through the development phases of some newer generation drivers with different cone materials (Carbon fiber, Polypropylene, Aluminium, Ceramic etc.) other improvements were made to the suspension system, damping, voice coil and coil former. All newer generations included a variety of subtle improvements summing-up over the years to quite a few improvements. The NRX2 takes the learning from many years of further development and brings all of that to the market as a new, but very similar driver series. NRX2 is more detailed, open, dynamic and with lower distortion. In most cases you can substitute NRX to/from NRX2 without the need for crossover or cabinet modifications. Read / Show More
