  • The Ara is a 2-way stand-mount speaker kit based on the top line of Satori drivers and was designed by the Danish SB engineering team. It is the smaller brother of the Rinjani 2.5-way with same design concept: to deliver transparent and dynamic sound reproduction. The gently faceted top corner shape is specially angled to reduce high frequency diffraction and yields superb imaging qualities. 7⁰ inclined baffle slope helps time align the drivers, allowing for a relatively simple crossover design that delivers impressive sound staging. The wedge shaped inner rear walls behind the midwoofers reduce reflections. All the cabinet panels are cut from 18mm MDF with internal bracing to distribute cabinet vibrations evenly and hence lower sound colouration. The Ara is available with everything requi

    SB Acoustics premium range of Satori drivers. The advanced 6.5" driver uses a proprietary cone material made from Egyptian Papyrus, available in two cone colours. Two tweeter options are available from SBA Satori series: Ring Tweeter: Using the renowned Satori Ring Tweeter for premium high-end sound or Beryllium Tweeter: For those wanting the ultimate, the Satori Neodymium magnet Beryllium Dome Tweeters for open and spatial high end extension. Both these tweeters are available with a silver or black outer aluminium facia. Ensure that matching crossover is used for the selected tweeter model.
