  • 30mm Voice coil, Norex paper cone. Low damping SBR rubber surround with high exertion and resilience. Open structure cast frame for reduced reflections and compression. Aluminium alloy for light weight, non-magnetic and extra rigidity. Shorting Copper cap on pole piece. Non-inductive CCAW fibre glass 30mm coil former. Silver lead wires. Vented pole piece. Available in 4 or 8Ω version.

    • Vented cast aluminium chassis for optimum strength and low compression
    • Norex® proprietary cone material with natural fibres made in-house
    • Soft low damping rubber surround for improved transient response
    • Non-conducting fibre glass voice coil former for minimum damping
    • Extended copper sleeve on pole piece for low inductance and low distortion

    • NRX2 is the new version of the NRX Series of speaker drivers. NRX is the "Norex" proprietary paper cone drivers by SB Acoustics. Through the development phases of some newer generation drivers with different cone materials (Carbon fibre, Polypropylene, Aluminium, Ceramic etc.) other improvements were made to the suspension system, damping, voice coil and coil former. All newer generations included a variety of subtle improvements summing-up over the years to quite a few improvements. The NRX2 takes the learning from many years of further development and brings all of that to the market as a new, but very similar driver series. NRX2 is more detailed, open, dynamic and with lower distortion. In most cases you can substitute NRX to/from NRX2 without the need for crossover modifications. Read / Show More
