  • Replacement Voice Coil for Scan-Speak D2905/9900 tweeter (290032)

    • General Instructions for Repair:
    • 1. Remove the four small Torx screws (T8 bit) that hold the tweeter faceplate to the magnet assembly. Set aside.
    • 2. Remove the plastic ring. Set aside.
    • 3. Carefully remove the foam gasket. Set aside.
    • 4. Clip voice coil lead wires from solder tabs.
    • 5. Remove solder tabs. Discard.
    • 6. Remove voice coil assembly from magnet assembly. You may have to pry it out. Discard.
    • 7. Remove tape on new voice coil assembly.
    • 8. Fully insert new voice coil assembly into magnet assembly. Make sure to line up the voice coil lead wires with solder tab location.
